Some Very Important Stuff!
I hope everyone is planning on making their presence felt at the show on the 25th. If you can help, that would be outstanding, if not, we still need you to come out and meet other British car lovers and tell them how much we appreciate their support. The show has been running quite smoothly considering and I trust this year will be no exception so please make it a point to come out if at all possible.
Indy ‘96 is coming soon! I hope you made reservations with Stan and will be going with us. The plan is to meet at the Shoney’s on Trinity Lane off I-65 exit 87-B and leave at 8 A.M. If you are planning on caravaning with us please be sure Stan knows this so we can watch for you if for some reason you are late. My mobile phone # is 519-0696 if you need to reach us.
May 12th
June 9thSunday May the 12th is our next event. We will be touring to the Nashville Zoo in beautiful Joelton. The plan is to meet at Fountain Square Mall at 1 o’clock and depart shortly thereafter. A leisurely tour through the countryside will take us to the zoo where I hope they have badges to determine who among us (if any) are allowed to leave. Admission is $6 and it should take us 2-3 hours to go through. To get to Fountain Square take the Metrocenter/8th Avenue exit off I-265 and head away from town about a mile or so on the right. Also mark your calendar for June the 9th. We will be meeting at Hunters Lane High School at 1 o’clock for a tour of the north country. Our final destination is dinner at Rawlings Restaurant. The Rawlings is known for their fabulous catfish and steaks. From Nashville take I-65 north to Old Hickory Blvd. turn left then right at Dickerson Rd at the first light turn left on Hunters Lane and the school is on the right.
